The main purpose of the Group from then until today is to keep the spirit of the Cypriot tradition alive through dances and music. To preserve the memory of the older ones and educate the new generation to come closer to the tradition. At the same time, to make this tradition known outside of Cyprus.

The members of the Group currently number more than 200 people including dancers, musicians, other artists whether they are active or inactive.
